BDO makes upgrades to C-suite leadership team
BDO has revealed two appointments to its C-suite to further its commitment to growth, innovation and client service.
BDO Australia is welcoming two key leadership appointments, chief information officer and chief client officer, to join its C-suite this month.
The chief information officer role was filled by Tiffany Wong based on her extensive experience from senior roles at the Victorian Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action and Aurecon.
Within her position, Wong would also be responsible for leading BDO’s national technology strategy.
Nicole Aman was named as BDO’s new chief client officer and was set to succeed Janet Glasper following her upcoming retirement at the end of the month.
BDO revealed Aman was appointed to the role based on her previous executive roles at PwC Australia and would be responsible for the firm’s clients and market function.
David Garvey, BDO Australia's incoming chief executive, said the appointments reflected the firm’s aim to build a leadership team that was both equipped for today and ready to shape the future of BDO.
“Tiffany’s leadership and experience will be instrumental as we continue to advance our digital strategy and infrastructure to support our firm’s continued growth,” he said.
“A contemporary and digitally enabled workforce will improve service delivery and enhance client outcomes.”
“Nicole brings a sharp client-centric focus, backed by experience in marketing, leadership coaching and sales, which combined will help us achieve our strategic goals and continue delivering exceptional experiences for our clients and our people.”
Garvey is set to assume the position from 1 December, succeeding Tony Schiffman.
Despite Schiffman moving on from the chief executive of BDO Australia, it was recently announced by BDO Global that he would assume the position of global chair from this month.
