Several accounting professionals and businesses have been announced as finalists in this year’s Commercial Finance Awards.

A total of 136 finalists have been shortlisted from the 247 submissions in the Commercial Finance Awards 2025.

Now in its second year, the premier awards program celebrates top-performing commercial finance professionals and businesses, including individual brokers, loan administrators, aggregators, business development managers, and service providers.

Run in partnership with principal partner, Judo Bank, the awards program offered a total of 22 submission-based categories, including 13 individual and nine group categories.

SME accountants, development finance brokers, accounting practices, and asset finance aggregators were all recognised in the awards program.

Those named as finalists in the individual categories include representatives from NAB, Pure Capital, Resimac Asset Finance, Aurelius Capital, and LoanOptions.ai.

In the group categories, finalists include Broker.com.au, Astera Accountants, Xact Accounting, Balanz Finance, and WiseAcc Group.

Winners will be announced at the black-tie gala ceremony on Friday, 21 November 2025, at the Four Seasons in Sydney. Click here to buy tickets.

The Commercial Finance Awards, in conjunction with event stakeholders Accountants Daily, The Adviser, Momentum Media, and a panel of leading commercial finance professionals, has developed a robust awards methodology to form the backbone for assessing, analysing, and benchmarking Australia’s leading commercial finance professionals and businesses.

All submissions undergo a thorough audit process, checking demographic and other information against category-eligible criteria based on the information provided in the submission.

Those submissions deemed eligible against submission criteria were reviewed and assessed by a panel of Momentum Media events and editorial team members and executives, plus industry stakeholders where required, to determine the finalists for each category.

Finalist submissions will now be delivered to a panel of respected professionals and business leaders, who assess each submission against the criteria of each award category.
