Grant Thornton records record global growth in 2025
Grant Thornton International has unveiled its global revenues, which totalled US$8.5 billion for the financial year ended 30 September, 2025.
Grant Thornton International has grown its global revenue by 6.1 per cent from the previous year, reaching the USD8.5 billion mark for the financial year ending in September.
The professional services firm noted this milestone capped a five-year strategy cycle under chief executive Peter Bodin, in which it was able to successfully scale from US$6.6 billion in 2021 to US$8.5 billion in 2025.
According to Grant Thornton International, this strategy was focused on sustainable growth, which had been achieved through consistent investment in developing strategic capabilities where clients needed them, a focus on high quality and risk management, as well as a network culture grounded in having a global mindset.
Bodin said the firm’s “record revenues” reflected the strength and resilience of its network and the trust of its clients.
“Over the past five years, we have delivered sustainable organic growth, a long-term trend that positions us strongly for the future,” he said.
“We have built a cohesive network with a clear focus on delivering the best quality service to mid-market businesses, while embracing new dynamics such as private equity investment in our member firms. These changes bring exciting opportunities for our network and our clients.”
The results from the year outlined that strong service line performance “led the way” as assurance grew by 7.9 per cent and remained the largest service line at 44.8 per cent of total revenues.
Advisory grew by 4.7 per cent to 35.1 per cent, while tax grew by 4.5 per cent to 20.1 per cent, reinforcing the strength of the network’s disciplinary model.
Bodin said the results also highlighted strong regional growth led by Africa up 16.2 per cent, followed by Asia Pacific up 11.2 per cent, Europe and the Middle East up 7.4 per cent and the Americas up 2.7 per cent.
In addition to this, the global network now comprises 80,000 people – an increase of 5.3 per cent year on year.
“I am proud of what we have achieved together and wish the network, and incoming CEO Greg Keith, every success in the next chapter of Grant Thornton’s journey.”
