The national accounting work has announced a raft of new partners across its advisory, tax and audit divisions.
Pitcher Partners has announced the appointment of six new partners, with Bruce Grieve in Newcastle, Levi Holdsworth in Adelaide, Elizabeth Jools and Juliana Kee in Sydney, Jack Mackintosh in Melbourne and Alex Pollock in Brisbane promoted across the firm’s national network. The six appointments were effective from 1 July 2026.
Pitcher Partners national chair Brendan Britten said the appointments reflected the exceptional depth of talent within the firms nationally, and its commitment to developing professionals who combine technical excellence with a genuine dedication to their clients.
“These promotions reflect the outstanding calibre of people we have across the Pitcher Partners network and the values that define how we work with our clients every day,” Mr Britten said.
“Bruce, Levi, Elizabeth, Juliana, Jack and Alex have each demonstrated a deep commitment to understanding what their clients genuinely need and to providing the professional guidance that makes a real difference.
“We are delighted to welcome them as Partners and look forward to the contribution they will each make to their clients, their firms and the broader network.”
Grieve has been appointed as partner in the Private Wealth practice at Pitcher Partners Newcastle and Hunter, and brings more than 20 years of experience in financial planning across South Africa and Australia.
Having built and led an advisory practice in South Africa before relocating to Australia, Grieve joined Pitcher Partners in Newcastle two years ago and works with high-net-worth individuals and family groups across wealth management, estate planning and retirement advice.
“Whatever is happening externally, be it the Federal budget, geopolitical uncertainty or the rapid advance of technology, the question our clients are really asking tends to be the same: am I going to be okay?” Grieve said.
“Our role is to take everything that is going on and give clients a clear, personal answer to that question, along with the confidence that comes from knowing someone is looking after the details on their behalf.”
At the Adelaide firm, Holdsworth has been appointed as a principal in Pitcher Partners’ Private Business and Family Advisory practice, after nearly nine years working across roles in independent practices in Melbourne and Adelaide. Working with a broad cross-section of clients including high-net-worth individuals, family offices, small to medium-sized businesses and entrepreneurial start-ups, Holdsworth brings a personal understanding of small business that informs every client relationship.
“The conversations I have with clients tend to be conversations they may not be having with anyone else,” Holdsworth said.
“They go to the heart of what is at stake for that person and their business, and I feel genuinely privileged to be part of them, through the highs and through the lows.”
Jools has been appointed as a partner in the Tax Advisory practice at Pitcher Partners Sydney, having joined the firm from a big four firm in 2015.
With qualifications spanning law, commerce and accounting, including admission as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of NSW, Jools specialises in corporate tax with a focus on international advisory and compliance, working with multinational groups across a broad range of sectors.
“Making business personal is about treating every engagement as something more than transactional,” Jools said.
“It is about understanding what drives your client, listening properly, and building a relationship where they feel genuinely heard.”
Kee has also been appointed as a partner in the Tax Advisory practice at Pitcher Partners Sydney, having joined the firm as a cadet and built her career entirely within its Tax Advisory team. A Chartered Tax Advisor with a Master of Taxation, Kee specialises in financial services taxation and mergers and acquisitions advisory, working with listed investment companies, large privately owned companies and managed funds.
“The proposed tax changes are front of mind for almost every client we work with right now,” Kee said.
“We are doing significant planning work to model different scenarios so that when there is more certainty around the legislation, our clients are in the best position to respond.”
Mackintosh has been appointed as a partner in the Business Advisory and Assurance practice at Pitcher Partners Melbourne, having joined the firm in 2014. A registered company auditor, business advisor and tax advisor, Mackintosh takes a deliberately generalist approach across both audit and advisory, drawing on experience that includes a period at a large firm in Toronto.
“What clients are genuinely looking for is someone who will have an honest conversation with them, help them make sense of what they are facing and give them something practical they can act on,” Mackintosh said.
Pollock has been appointed as partner in the Corporate Finance practice at Pitcher Partners Brisbane, bringing expertise across due diligence, mergers and acquisitions advisory and business valuations. Having spent the earlier part of his career in audit before transitioning to corporate finance, Pollock works across both buy-side and sell-side transactions, advising ASX listed and private equity backed corporates as well as founder-led businesses preparing for or navigating a sale.
“Most business owners will go through a major transaction only once in their lives, and for many of them the process is entirely new territory,” Pollock said.
“Our role is to bring clear and practical advice to that process and to help bridge the gap between what a seller knows instinctively about their business and what a buyer expects to understand before they will commit.”
