Winners crowned at the Australian Accounting Awards 2025
Accounting Times’ sister brand, Accountants Daily has unveiled a total of 37 winners for this year's Australian Accounting Awards.
The 12th annual Australian Accounting Awards black-tie gala ceremony was held tonight (Friday, 20 June) at The Star, Sydney with support from Principal Partner Intuit QuickBooks.
A total of 37 accounting professionals were selected as winners from over 300 finalists across the individual and group categories.
The highest-scoring individual winner walked away with the coveted Accountants Daily Excellence Award trophy.

This year, the Excellence Award was given to Sarah Lawrance of Hot Toast, after she was named Thought Leader of the Year earlier in the evening.
Other individual winners included a superannuation auditor and specialist accountant, public accountant, young accountant, and property specialist accountant.
Group winners included an SMSF firm, boutique firm, bookkeeping firm, business advisory firm, start-up, and a multiservice firm, while regional and suburban firms were also celebrated.
Australian satirist, comedian, writer, and actor, Mark Humphries assumed emcee duties and provided entertainment and laughter throughout the evening.
“The awards again showcased the exceptional talent and contributions of top accounting professionals and firms across Australia,” said Brownlee.
The Australian Accounting Awards 2025 recognises the leading tax professionals and firms driving the accounting industry to new heights.
