Moore Australia promotes 6 across national network
The accounting firm has revealed a recent round of partner and director promotions across its national network to tie off the end of the financial year.
Moore Australia has unveiled six new promotions to partner and director in its Perth, Brisbane and Coffs Harbour offices across its audit, business advisory, wealth management and outsourced corporate services sectors.
The Perth office welcomed James Arthur, Katherine Gardner, Miles Jacob and Linvani as directors, while the Brisbane office welcomed Michelle D’Souza as partner.
Moore Australia QLD/NNSW (northern NSW) also revealed the appointment of Hugo Anderson to partner of the Coffs Harbour office, following 15 years at a big four firm.
Anderson joined the Coffs Harbour office with a background in tax and business advisory, as well as strong commercial insights gained from working alongside privately owned businesses and their families, according to Moore.
Matt Thomson, chief executive of Moore Australia QLD/NNSW, said Anderson’s appointment was a key milestone in the firm’s ongoing strategy to attract high-calibre professionals and deliver quality service to clients across the regions.
“Hugo joining our Moore Australia partner team is a reflection of our focus on quality, growth and commitment to regional leadership.”
“We’re proud to be attracting professionals of Hugo’s calibre. It’s a sign that our vision is resonating – and that our regions offer the opportunity, lifestyle and professional challenges today’s leaders are looking for.”
Speaking about his appointment, Anderson said he was looking forward to the opportunities within the firm and its regional scope.
“This opportunity allows me to bring my experience and expertise into an agile environment, where I can work closely with clients and make a real impact,” Anderson said.
“I’m particularly looking forward to supporting the talented local team and contributing to the continued growth of the firm across the region.”
The firm also shared its strategy for the new financial year, focused on the four priorities of innovation, sustainability, ambition and connections.
The firm said these pillars would be integral in its progress as the accounting profession continued to experience rapid transformation as technology and the workforce evolved.
David Tomasi, chair of Moore Australia, said he was looking forward to the year ahead as Moore welcomed its new partners, directors and realigned itself with goals and strategies.
“I’d like to take this opportunity to congratulate all our new appointees. Each of them embodies the innovation and connection that define how we work at Moore. Their leadership will help us continue to evolve the way we serve clients and ultimately support the organisations that make up Australia’s economy,” he said.
“Our focus is on creating an environment where our people can lead with curiosity and courage. Together, we will continue to shape a profession that serves the needs of organisations and society. These promotions are a sign of what is possible when we work together with purpose.”
