Palermo Chartered Accountants adds former CA ANZ president to ranks
The accounting firm has welcomed Tinashe Kamangira as partner, effective from 1 July.
Palermo Chartered Accountants has appointed former CA ANZ president, Tinashe Kamangira, as partner.
The Perth-based firm said the appointment marked a professional reunion between Kamangira and John Palermo, as they had served as president and board chair of CA ANZ respectively, where they worked together to advance the accounting profession across Australia and New Zealand.
As part of the appointment, Kamangira will also become a director of family office consulting and advisory business Gratia Advisory.
Palermo said he was thrilled to have had Kamangira join the partnership.
“We are delighted to welcome Tinashe to our partnership. His extensive experience and commitment to excellence align perfectly with our firm’s values and augment our consulting and advisory capacity. I am confident that, together, we will continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients.”
Palermo added that Kamangira would bring nearly 20 years of experience in accounting, taxation and business advisory services having served private businesses and their owners throughout his career.
Speaking on his appointment, Kamangira said he was looking forward to joining the firm in a partner capacity and Gratia Advisory as a director.
“I am excited to join Palermo Chartered Accountants as a partner. Working alongside Davina, John and the broader team presents a unique opportunity to leverage our combined expertise for the benefit of our clients,” he said.
“I look forward to contributing to the continued growth and success of the firm and our profession.”
