EY-Parthenon unveils newly developed ‘neurosymbolic’ AI platform
The big four firm has revealed its newly generated disruptive AI solution powered by “neurosymbolic AI” in a move to strengthen and bolster growth.
EY-Parthenon has launched a neurosymbolic AI powered solution, EY Growth Platforms (EYGP), to serve as a “powerful accelerator” for the innovative work the EY branch is aiming to strive for.
Designed by architect Jeff Schumacher, EYGP was developed with the goal of empowering organisations to uncover transformative growth opportunities and revolutionise commercial models for profitability, according to the firm.
It was noted that neurosymbolic AI merged statistical power of neural networks with the structured logic of symbolic reasoning, driving pattern recognition to deliver practical and reliable predictions and decisions.
From this ability, EY said it could help clients with complex strategic opportunities to leverage greater value and transform their business, scale new corporate ventures and execute high-stake transactions.
Mitch Berlin, EY Americas vice chair, EY-Parthenon, said the innovation represented a rapid development in enterprise technology where generative and neurosymbolic AI combined to redefine how businesses created value.
“In today’s uncertain economic climate, leading companies aren’t just adapting, they’re taking control. EY Growth Platforms gives our clients the predictive power and actionable foresight they need to confidently steer their revenue trajectory,” he said.
“EYGP is a game changer, poised to become the backbone of enterprise growth. EYGP harnesses this powerful technology to simulate real-time market scenarios and their potential impact, uncovering the most effective business strategies tailored to each client. It expands beyond the limits of generative AI, becoming a growth operating system for companies to tackle complex go-to-market challenges and unlock scalable revenue.”
According to EY, at the core of the design of its newly launched “neurosymbolic” platform was a unified data and reasoning engine that ingested structured and unstructured data from internal systems, external signals and deep EY experience and data sets.
Schumacher developed the technology over a three year period and was noted to be already powering proprietary AI applications and intelligent workflows for EY-Parthenon clients across consumer product goods, industrials and financial services sectors without needing data cleaning or digital transformation.
The innovation was launched after the appointment of Schumacher to EYGP leader for EY-Parthenon and currently offered the platform across North America, Europe and Australia.
Schumacher said neurosymbolic AI was not another analytics tool, but a growth engine.
“With EY Growth Platforms, we’re putting a dynamic, AI-powered operating system in the hands of leaders, giving them the ability to rewire how their companies make money. This isn’t incremental improvement; it’s a complete reset of the commercial model.”
