The spend management platform has unveiled its new accounts payable automation site.

Weel has launched a fully automated accounts payable (AP) platform to help Australian businesses manage their invoices and eliminate the complexity of traditional AP workflows.

Daniel Kniaz, CEO and co-founder of Weel, said the AP tool had proven traction with businesses, as notable brands such as Canva, Michael Holl and OzHarvest were using Weel to help streamline their finance functions.

“We built Weel to transform AP for an AI-driven world. Our mission was to create a system that helps finance teams thrive, keeping them agile, precise, and prepared for the pace of modern business,” he said.

Weel noted the platform brought together advanced automation, intuitive workflows, and deep integrations in a single platform and included features such as AI-powered invoice capture, automatic coding rules, multistep approvals, global payments, and real-time Xero sync.

Kniaz added that the addition of the AP tool would help strengthen Weel’s position in the spend management platform market.

“Our philosophy at Weel is to make complex product features super easy to use, and this one is no different. We’ve built an AP solution that scales with our customers,” he said.

“From high-growth companies to established teams with cross-functional workflows, Weel delivers automation and control in a single source of truth.”
